• 2008Love without boundary, love to disaster area. In the 5•12 Wenchuan Earthquake, while relieving the disaster actively, Transfar, together with Xin’an Chemical, donates RMB 33.66 million yuan to the disaster area to help people there.
• 2006The CCP Committee of Zhejiang and the People’s Government of Zhejiang hold the ceremony of contributing love to the people in the disaster area. Transfar Group donates RMB 500,000 yuan to the disaster area. Xu Guanbao, Vice Chairman of the Group is present at the donation ceremony.
• 2003Kao Transfar, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, donates 100,000 bottles of hand-washing liquid and 50 tones of liquid disinfectant to Zhejiang SARS Prevention Office. The donation is used for the SARS prevention in tens of thousands of high schools, elementary schools and 350 university entry examination spots in Zhejiang. The donation is amounted to RMB 1,018,000 yuan. It is one of Kao Transfar’s series public welfare activities titled Caring for the Health of Students and Overcoming Difficulty Together.
• 1999Transfar Group donates materials amounting to RMB 280,000 yuan to the disaster-stricken people Eshan Township, Tonglu, and Heshan Township, Jiaxing, Zhejiang.
• 1998Transfar Group takes the lead in the private enterprises in Zhejiang donating relief materials of RMB 500,000 yuan to the front line of fighting flood of the Yangtze River. Meanwhile, the staff of Transfar donates over RMB 60,000 yuan to the flooding area.
• 1994Transfar Group donates laundry powder of 1,500 cartoons to the disaster area of Wenzhou stricken by No.17 Typhoon. The donation is amounted to RMB 120,000 yuan. The staff donates RMB 8,800 yuan on the same day. The materials and the money are sent to Wenzhou in time.

Helping the needy

• 2008on behalf of Transfar Group, Chen Jie, Secretary of the CCP Committee and Vice President of Transfar Group, and Xu Wangquan, Deputy Secretary of the CCP Committee, visit Jianzhushan Village, Sandu Town to send RMB 50,000 yuan for drilling the wells of drinking water and tens of bags of laundry powder. They convey the New Year wish of the Chairman of Transfar to the villagers.
• 2007Transfar Group donates a fund for the needy of RMB 713,900 yuan to Ningxin Village, Xiaoshan.
• 2007Transfar Group actively attends the charity program for poor rural areas carried out by the CCP Committee of Hangzhou and the government of Hangzhou. Transfar, together with eight organizations including the Organization Department of the CCP Committee of Hangzhou, forms a supportive group and established relation with Lianxiang, Sandu Town, Jiande. Since the meeting of supporting the needy in May, the leaders of Transfar Group have visited Sandu Town and the villages for three times investigating the projects helping the needy and donated supportive fund of RMB 100,000 yuan to Mazhai Village and Jianzhushan Village.
• 2004—2006 Transfar Group donates RMB 80,000 yuan to Yuelian Village, Jinhua Town, Xiaoshan (helps Yuezhu Village previously) for the village to install tap water facilities and build road.
• 2003Transfar Group donates RMB 90,000 yuan to Shimenwang Village, Jinhua Town, Xiaoshan District for the village to build road. The donation relieves the transportation difficulty of the villagers.
• 1997Transfar Group engages in the Brilliance Undertaking, requesting to support two villages. Transfar pays RMB 1 million yuan to help Dengfeng Village, Hudong Township, a poor village in Changshan County, Zhejiang, to build a vegetable greenhouse base, and help Sanzhishu Village in Jingning She Nationality Self-Governing County to build a mushroom drying plant. One year later, the vegetable base in Dengfeng Village, Hudong Township allows the income per person to increase RMB 1,000 plus yuan for local farmers. It becomes a model for shaking off poverty and becoming rich. Later on, Transfar Group donates additional RMB 200,000 yuan to the village to enlarge farming scale.

Spring Breeze Program

On the meeting of the 8th Spring Breeze Program held in Xiaoshan District, 2007, the CCP Committee of the district and the government of the district grant Charity Award of Spring Breeze Program to four companies including Transfar Group and Wanxiang Group.

Helping the vulnerable

• 2007the Communist Youth League General Branch of Transfar Paint, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, and the Women’s Federation launch a program named Love Full of Mid Autumn 2007. The staff members not only donate money and materials, but also collect and sell scraps. The money and clothing are sent to Xiaoshan Orphanage.
• 2007The Communist Youth League General Branch of Transfar, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, takes the clothing they raise and Transfar Detergent Gift Box and candies to visit Xiaoshan Welfare Home.
• 2006Transfar Paint, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, sends a truck of gifts donated by all staff of the company to the children of Xiaoshan Welfare Home. The donation includes 137 pieces of clothing, 195 books and stationery and RMB 1,089 yuan of money.
• 2005 Kao Transfar, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, co-launch 4050 Program with the municipal and district labor and social security bureau, business administration, and tax administration of Kaifeng, Henan for local layoff workers. Kao Transfar provides free vehicles, special-priced products and RMB 300 yuan/month as basic living expense to women over 40 and men over 50 in Kaifeng. Cooperating with related departments, Kao Transfar resolves the extremely urgency of these people.
• 2000To rescue Yu Jiawen, an eight-year-old leukemia patient, who is the daughter of a factory worker of Transfar, Transfar Group distributes a proposal titled “For the Life of Little Wenjia” to all staff of the Group. The people of Transfar extend helps one after another. The donation of RMB 80,000 yuan cash is delivered to the patient in time. Today, Yu Jiawen has returned to school.
• 1995Transfar Group donates RMB 50,000 yuan to Fund of the Disabled of Xiaoshan. In 2000, Transfar donates another RMB 10,000 yuan.

• 2007Transfar has entered modern agricultural industry for six years and provided 165 million plug seedlings and 8.5 million graft fruit seedlings and trained growers for 23,800 times. Graft seedlings bring an additional annual income of 3,000 yuan/mu to growers. By the end of 2007, graft seedling growers have got an additional income of about RMB 290 million yuan, benefiting 6,500 growers in over 500 villages.

• Introduced by the related governmental department of Hangzhou, Transfar Bio, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, creates supportive relation with Mashan Village, Qianchuan Town, Lin’an. By sending technology and knowledge to countryside, Transfar Bio designs a strategy for Mashan Village to develop tourism and grow cash crops. It improves the farming technology of the villagers, broadens their horizon and improves their ability to earn money independently. General Manager Ni Huizhu of Transfar Bio is awarded the title of Honorable Head of Village in the program of constructing new countryside.
• 2002Transfar Bio, a subsidiary of Transfar Group, finances Longxushan Village, Lin’an helping the village to build a road to the mountains. It promotes the farm tourism and helps local farmers earn money. Transfar Bio also helps building tap water facilities.

• 2004Transfar Group and its staff donate RMB 218,000 yuan to support basic education by financing the establishment of two high schools and four elementary schools in Ningwei Town.

• 1993To support the education industry, Transfar Group presents RMB 90,000-yuan super-clean laundry powder at Hangzhou Friendship Hotel to all teachers in Hangzhou. Afterwards, Transfar Group pays over RMB 500,000 yuan to finance the elementary school of the village and the education program on modern countryside.

We have been promoting the harmonious development of the company and the community. While building more facilities for the staff community and enriching the cultural activities after work, we also take care of communities nearby, help building irrigation facilities, install tap water equipment, road lights, build roads, finance publicity and educational facilities, provide more diverse food for the villagers, and build harmonious communities with local villages and townships.

• Transfar Art Troupe, the cultural wagon of Transfar, follows the guidelines and policies of the CCP and provides programs liked by the public to the countryside to enrich their leisure life. By the end of 2007, the troupe has made over 2,000 performances voluntarily. More than 10 million people have watched the performances.
• 2007Ten volunteers of Transfar Group attend the ceremony for founding the outsider volunteers team of the mew Ningwei people making contributions to cleaning our home. Once the ceremony is finished, the volunteers start working.

• 2007In the blood donation meeting of the district held by the district government of Xiaoshan, Transfar Group not only receives the award of Model Company for Blood Donation, but also model Company for Blood Donation of 2006 of Hangzhou. Fu Yaoming from Transfar Land and Han Xingliang from Transfar Whyyon receive the Award for Blood Donation of 2006 of Xiaoshan District.
